だが執刀医がこの程度なら投げれるよ！と言った結果3ヶ月近く引き伸ばされた
これはチームメイトも知っていて、トミージョンが発表された時には「靭帯断裂しながら投げてくれてありがとう！」と感謝された

これについてトレードなどで新しくドジャースに来た選手達は「そんな中で投げてたなんて知らなかった」と驚いてる
