　米スポーツ専門サイト「アスレチック」は２日（日本時間３日）、大リーグの今オフのＦＡ選手を格付けし、上位５０人を発表。日本選手では、阪神からポスティングシステムを使ってメジャー移籍を目指す藤浪晋太郎投手（２８）が、５０位にランクインした。

　これは、同サイトの記者が独断でランク付けしたもの。藤浪については「最速は９８、９９マイル（１５８、１５９キロ）でスプリットの決め球があり、ここではこの２つの球種で非常に効果的なリリーバーになるかもしれない」と、先発よりも中継ぎとして評価していた。

　さらに「ここではリリーフとして機能する可能性が高そうだが、システムが変わることでショートリリーフの役割で開花するかもしれない」と、新たな環境がもたらす変化にも期待されていた。

　また、日本選手最高位となる１８位となったソフトバンク・千賀滉大投手（２９）は、投手の中では８番目にランクインする結果となった。

50. Shintaro Fujinami, RHP, age 29
2022 (Hanshin Tigers, NPB): 3.38 ERA, 66.7 IP, 21 BB, 65 K, 6 HR

Fujinami may be posted this winter by Hanshin, so he’s not a true free agent like Kodai Senga, and also wouldn’t command as much money in free agency as Senga based on projected role and performance to date in NPB. Fujinami is up to 98-99 mph with a modified splitter that’s his out pitch, and he could be a very effective reliever here working with those two options. He walked 61 guys in 87.2 innings in 2021 in a swing role, but did at least improve enough in 2022 to take on a few more starts, although in both years he ended up in their Western League, the main Japanese minor league, for a significant portion of the season. He’s much more likely to work here as a reliever given his control issues in the past, but might flourish in a short relief role here in a different system.
